Nestled in the foothills of Mount Diablo, between Danville and Blackhawk, Diablo is arguably the most prestigious address in the San Francisco East Bay and the price of Diablo homes for sale reflects that. One of the longest established neighborhoods here, there are only around 350 homes and the streets are often winding and narrow.
In many ways, Diablo has the feel of an English village. You won’t find any shops here, but the central point of interest is the renowned Diablo Country Club, one of the best in Contra Costa, with an outstanding restaurant, excellent service and a first-class golf course.Diablo homes vary considerably in size and style, but you won’t find anything under $1 million, and it is certainly possible to pay more than ten times that amount.
Diablo is a census-designated place (CDP) in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 1,158 at the 2010 census. It is located 2.5 miles (4.0 km) east-northeast of Danville. “Diablo” is Spanish for devil.
